Timer / Clock Command

Is there a way I can use the BSII's timer or clock to measure a period of time elapsed.

I want the basic stamp to carry out a set of instructions, and time how long it takes from beginning to end.

Is this possible and if so what code should I use?

Otherwise what other ways might you suggest?

The best way to measure the timing of your·code is to use an oscilloscope.· This will give you a precise measurement.· The BASIC Stamp does not have a built in timer.· If you want to do other types projects that require a timer you can use a DS1302 with a 32KHz crystal.· Here is a link for·more information:· http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=604-00005·.

Dave, don't you mean a 32.768 kHz crystal?
