Sharp IR Trigger Help

I'm feelin dumber by the minute - so I need the team's help -

Can anyone steer me to a circuit schematic for wiring a GP2Y0D340K IR Sensor/Detector. The datasheets are cryptic at best, and I'm totally lost on what pin goes where on a Basic Stamp Homework Board.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Isn't the output of that analog? You'll need an ADC -- and ADC0831 should do the job. We have plenty of ADC0831 examples in our documentation (WAM, StampWorks, etc).
