Sp0256-al2
Hello from Greece!!!
For·a·few days now, I'm trying to find the compoments for the speaker(talk)board figured in the 40th Column of Nuts & Volts(Page 443 - 452)·but I can find the SP0256-AL2 processor and the "crystal"(3.12MHz) nowhere here in Greece
· Can I be supplied ,seperately, these compoments or I have to buy the whole kit. How·can·I·buy it, when will arrive and from where will come from (international distributor or ...
)
?
Thank you,
Provas

And, having now navigated to www.speechchips.com, it looks like they are now available, including a nice small board to put them in, AND the crystal needed.· Including a nice small simulator to run on your PC to get the Phoneme's you'll need to program it.
Really nice!

Would it be worth trying another DAC
I'll better make this circuit first and then go on...
Thank you once again,

Thanks for the mention Jon.
www.speechchips.com carries the SP0256-AL2 along with a printed circuit board for the SP0256-AL2 and component kits.
