BOE-Bot with Tank tread kit and QTI Line Follower Appkit
The Tank Tread Kit raises the BOE-Bot chassis almost 1/2 inch.
The QTI Line Follower Appkit sensors will then be this much higher from the surface that the line is on that it is trying to follow.
My question is, will this affect the line following performance and should longer standoffs be used to lower the sensor to its
original height from the line surface?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks,
Lawrence

Yes, you will most likely need to use longer standoffs.· The reason why is that the lighting plays a factor for the QTI sensor·in being able to see the line.
