Hey what hardware do i need to communicate between my laptop and a robot. Even anything needed to convert the stamp only transceiver, could use the help thanks?
Take a look at the MAX232, it allows bidirectional Serial communications. If you want a wireless approach there are a few RF modules that work to 1000ft.
For wireless here are a few popular approaches, as you shop keep this in mind. For 1 way comms get a transmitter and receiver, for 2 way comms get 2 tranceivers. Also, you can use pin 16(programming pin)·on your stamp board for data acq., however it is a good idea to build a simple interface with a max232 and use one of the regular stamp i/o pins.
