Is the 5v regulator to Vdd on the serial BOE rev. B a 7805?

Does anyone know if the voltage regulator in the board of education (serial version) is a 7805?

    Judging from the picture on Parallax.com - it looks like an LM2940-5 - which is a low drop out 5 volt regulator.
