Okay, this probably sounds pretty pathetic, but I've bought a SRF08 sonar range finder and wish to connect it to my BS2.· The only problem is, I happen to have a controller board, which I must confess I don't know much about.· None of the ways that I have found to connect it assume that one might have a controller board.· I got it from Arrick Robotics with the ARobot package and my question is, do I need more resistors or does it have them already.· I am aware that only people who have an idea of what the controller board and expansion board look like, but I'm hoping someone here will.·

I believe the SRF08 is I2C device, the BS2p and BS2pe have the I2C commands that make this a much easier project.· The SRF04 is the one that works well with the BS2.·

i2c can be done from the bs2, plenty of info on it in i think the nuts and volts articles.
it looks like your controller board has expansion hookups for the bs2.

    here's a link to some i2c/bs2/srf08 code:

    have fun!
