BS-2, analog input, row-column scanning

I was just wondering if anyone had made a BS-2 sense a bunch of analog inputs with resistor-capacitor circuits in a row-column scanning set up. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work, but I was wondering if it became slow or anything.

btw, if anyone was thinking of making as rss feed for this board (or if there is one that i don't know about), then i just want to say that it would rock if they did.
