Ok, I'm impressed.· As a 63-year-old-semi-retired-applications programmer, I'm having a ball with the Basic Stamp Microcontroller kit I bought at Rat Shack (believe it or not!), working thru the exercises in "What's a Microcontroller"!

I remember building my first pc from a kit (Poly 88) way back then when 1K of memory was about $128.00 or so.·

Keep up the good work and support on these forums, they're a jewel!

I bought the "What's a Microprocessor?" from Radio Shack about a year ago and was really impressed with the documentation and the amount of included components.

It is pretty cool to be able to walk into any Radio Shack in the country and see a couple of Parallax boxes sitting there.

It'd be nicer (it's a Canadian word) to see them in Radio Shacks up here!!· *HINT HINT WINK WINK*

There's only a couple places to get them in Canada....but it's all mail order (at least from where I'm living).
