Ultrasonic Distance Measurements

Does anyone know of an ultrasonic distance measuring module? I kind of remember an article on one recently, possible in Nuts and Volts, possibly concerning a Stamp.

I could use some suggestions on parts and sources.

THANKS!

A very popular sonar module is the SRF-04 made by Daventech and sold by Parallax and many others. It uses two IO pins: one to trigger the device, the other to measure the echo pulse width that corresponds to the distance to the target.

Mr. Robot has one that can measure up to 40 feet (gives off continuous voltage proportional to distance without additional programming). But beware, his service is SLOW!
