MATLAB Control of BS2

This link - http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/article/BS2MatlabPaper.pdf·- talks about using matlab and its Gui's to control the BS2 which i would really like to do as i think it would allow me much more flexibility and allow my pc to take on most of the difficult work. Anyway I wrote both parts of pc to bs2 but it does not show to to make the simulink program and how to connect it with the matlab program. Id appreciate your help or suggestions
