Waiting time for bs2p24 to read a SMS reply

Hi there,
My program works in this way:
It will keep sending GPS location SMS until I send a OFF to the modem which the bs2p will read the SMS and off the alarm and send back a "Alarm off successful" SMS.
However, whenever I send OFF, it takes a very long time to get the "Alarm off successful" SMS or most of the time it didn't even work. The bs2p doesn't seem to read my SMS.
How long does the bs2p take to read the SMS?

Have you tried using the·"DEBUG" command to debug SMS (Short Message Service).· It could be that it·is out of range or there is interference that is blocking the transmission.· One of the best ways to trouble shoot a project is to use the "DEBUG" command.· Can you provide a schematic and data sheet regarding your project?
