Trouble with COUNT

For some reason, my LM231 voltage to frequency converter is outputting a frequency that instead of pulsing up, it pulses down (0-(-1)-0) -- verified by an oscilloscope.· I'm using the COUNT command in a BS2 to count the pulses, and it shows up as 0.· Does the COUNT command also count negative pulses? Or is my program wrong? (all i have is the regular -- COUNT DataPin, 1000, Value ... then DEBUG ? Value).

    If you're actually getting a negative voltage swing out of the divice then the BASIC Stamp will never see it -- you need to have transitions between 0 and 5 volts.
