115200 Baud with BS2?

I have a 3 axis gyro out-put that is an ASC string with a data rate I can read at 115200 BPS, 8 bit, no-parity, 1 sotp bit·with a Hyperterminal.· Looking at the BS2 SERIN command reference to get 115200 BPS I end up with negative number?· I assume that means it won't read it?· Should I use a BS2sx or is there a front end data buffer I could utilize to make this work?· I saw some forum posts with BS2's communicating at 115200 but no details on how it was setup.· Any recommendations?

Yes, a BS2 will NOT read data at 115,200 baud. There is a MAX3110 chip which can do it, I believe, but it only has 8 characters of buffer. The BS2sx might be able to do it -- I don't know, that's awfully fast.

Can you adjust the gyro out-put slower?

You will need to use a BS2sx or BS2p to get that baud rate -- and do not attempt to use any formatters; just receive raw data and deal with it after.
