Parallax is now offering our SX Tech Tool Kits at a lower cost.

SX Tech Tool Kit PLUS is now $99 (savings of $30)

SX Tech Tool KIT LITE is now $89 (savings of $10)

We offer this price reduction to continue to support the SX chip·in our position as·the Master Distributor. The pricing is also adjusted to encourage customers to buy the PLUS version, which has books from Guenther Daubach and Al Williams for only $10 more than the LITE. International customers may prefer the LITE version due to lower shipping costs.

This is part of our ongoing·support for the SX chip.

Wow...

You didn't mention that the SXKey by itself is only $79 now... I agree that if I were starting out, I'd buy the Tool Kit PLUS, but for existing customers, like myself, having a spare unit is also a very nice thing and at $79, its worth buying a second one.

I already have 2 for a prior project where we used two SXs together and needed to debug both at the same time and I can tell you that that second unit has come it handy several times. I've sent one to a customer to debug a problem that only seemed to occur at thier local (many miles away) and I've used it to run a second SX and do nothing more than watch the IO ports... sort of a poor mans logic analyser with REALLY complex triggering ability.

Anyway, I'm very impressed with the price. Thanks!
