I have been working on trying to get the article written by Jon Williams in Nuts And Volts
to interface a ps2 controller for weeks ofcource to no avail. I called parallax and
But to get to the point, has anyone succesfully used a psx controller with a HomeWork Board? And if not... does anyone else know a way we could controll the robot
The robot is for Sience Olympiad's Robobilliards competion.
ps: I have used 2 different SONY DualSHOCK controllers
pss: The needed amount of buttoons are 4 drive buttons 6 arm buttons

I try it without the 220's in the circuit and nothing happens!HelpGuy said...
The Homework board has 220 ohm resistors in each of the outputs and may be causing the setup to malfunction

That article is popular today ... I spoke with a customer by phone who was also having trouble with that project. He contacted me later to tell me that he found a broken wire. I feel pretty confident in the circuit and code -- double-check your connections. And the 220-ohm resistors on the BOE are not the problem, I am quite certain of that.

Why are you using microcontrollers for the event?
The inversion transistor was producin a bad wave!
I got a ttl hex inverter and it worked perfectly
the microcontroller allows us to preprogram arm positions.
