FSK radio and the BS2?

Has anyone tried building a FSK radio modem around a BS2?· Ideally, I'd like to have an off-the-shelf transmitter that I could hook up a BS2 based FSK modem to.· The more simple the schematic, the better... and integrating other chips (maybe a single chip solution?) is not a problem.
