I need help. I'm completing the IR remote for the boe bot kit, but the program on
page 32 isn't working.

    Oh, by the way I need the circuit for a L293D chip. I can't find it on the search fuction.

    Google is your friend ... embrace it. I found lots of circuits on the web using Google, some of the using BASIC Stamp code.

    Regarding the IR Boe-Bot program, the first thing to do is break the problem down into simpler parts. Make sure your Boe-Bot works without the aid of the IR Remote, then make sure the IR remote works without the aid of the Boe-Bot. Then, you can decide which problem to examine more closely. I would run a test navigation program from Robotics with the Boe-Bot to make sure the Boe-Bot is working. If it is, then run a test program from earlier in IR Remote for the Boe-Bot and make sure the BASIC Stamp is actually receiving the correct messages from your remote.

    I got it to work-I connected the detector to the wrong pin.
