Ive been given a servo which is not made by parallax/sold on their site. Im trying to control it using the same pulsout statements as you normally would, but the servo is not behaving itself. The model Im using is called the SuperTec S03, all i want it to do is turn through an arc so i can place a sensor on top of it. Anyone have any ideas how i control this thing?
thanks

I would recommend getting the vendor's documentation. The 1mS to 2mSec pulse width is for Futaba (and compatible) servos, which is what Parallax sells. Most servo's ARE 'Futaba' compatible, though.

Possibilities include: 1. Your servo uses different numbers. 2. Your servo uses LOTS more power, so you need to upgrade your power supply, or add capacitance across +5 and ground. 3. Your servo has much less torque, so can't move as well. 4. You haven't connected the servo and stamp grounds. 5. You have left out the 20 mSec pause before repeating your command to the Servo.
