SX18 questions...

It's been a while since I've been to the Parallax site and I noticed the special offer on the SX18 chips. But the special offer price is what I remember them going for before. Does anyone know what the "regular" price is, and when the SX18 proces will get bumped back up again? The SX18 hasn't by any chance been discontinued, has it?

I'm considering using the SX18 for a project, and I'm wondering if I should stock up, and how much I should stock up....

Also, what is the difference between the SX18AC and the SX18AC/75? My guess is the only difference is that the /75 model has clocked successfully at 75 Mhz and they are otherwise identical. Given that all the SX28s I've played with have clocked well over 75 Mhz, this would explain why the pricing on both chips is the same.

The SX18 is no longer in production. We did a big buy from Ubicom so that we could offer SX18 DP to experimenters. When they're gone, they're gon, and you'll have to switch to the SX20 SSOP. I don't think the price will change, but I have no control over those things....
