Is there anyway of debugging without a serial cable, and instead wirelessly? I'm guessing you're supposed to have a stamp transmit the information to another stamp which is connected to the computer? Is there any attachement that does not require a second stamp, and instead has the original stamp transmit information directly to the computer?· My range needs to be atleast 1500' in an open field.

    To simplify your problem, I would approach it as a wireless serial problem. No need to bring the stamp into the problem domain. If you can wirelessly transmit/receive serial RS-232/RS-485 data, then your problem is solved.

    There are a lot of commercially available wireless serial solutions out there. Try googling "wireless RS-232".
