Trying to get the Jav to boot first time EVER. Think power is O.K. -- using an ordinary 10 V DC PS -- green LED comes on -- but the IDE test sequence doesn't seem to be able to reset the board. Any particular requirements for the power other than between 6 and 24 VDC?

    Check the orientation of the Javelin module. Mine was delivered with the Javelin already installed, but installed the wrong way round. Easy to fix ...

    I recently received a Javelin and my module was also in backwards.·

    Luckily I inspected the board before plugging it in (as I normally do!).

    I think the punched hole throws people off in so far as marking pin 1 (even though in the wrong orientation it still doesn't mark pin 1)....

    Anyhow, as I've found when getting brand new equipment at work, check all connectors and such for proper fits....got burned once, and so far, that's all it took! [noparse];)[/noparse]
