Hi. I'm a highschool student in·a Robotics class
for my final project, i'd like use the IC temperature sensor.
i want it to show the temperature in F and C on a LCD and
the speaker to make a beeping noise everytime the temperature changes.
I got·Exp 28: measuring temperature (http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/books/sw/exp/sw28.pdf)
from Stampworks and i'm planning to modifiy it accordingly

please give me some guidance

What exactly are you looking for?· The StampWorks experiments, when completed, should give you enough of an understanding to modify things to the way you need.· If you're stuck, tell us exactly what you're trying to do so we can try to help.· I have some code I make freely available for a Digital Thermostat that we built, which does part of what you're trying to do.· Since the temperature is available in Celsius as well, that could be displayed, however we are using a non-standard serial interface to the LCD, which may make it hard to follow what we're doing.· But I will post the code anyway.

Guidance: Start with the StampWorks experiment. Once you understand it, make the modifications -- proceeding slowly -- that you want to make so that the project ultimately reaches your goals.

Hey my teacher has a temperature sensor for our class I think that you have to buy a second chip besides the BS2 Stamp I think that the chip is an 555 IC time converter chip but I am not sure about it
