Sharp IR range sensor with boebot

hello, i just get a Sharp GP2D02 IR Ranger for my boebot, i wonder if i need anything else to use the sensor together? i know that this sensor give out analog signal. so i wonder if i need any A to D converter? can i bulid it myself?
