Clock division with basic stamp

Hi All,
I'm new to the group (and to the Basic stamp) and I have a bit of a question if anybody can lend a hand.
I need to input a clock train into the stamp (~200us pulses) and I need an output which is a division of the input.
So, for example, an input of 1010101010 results in an output of 100100100100 (divided by 2)
The input is a continuous clocking train and the outpur needs to be divided by a given (variable) value so that I can choose to divide the input frequency by 2,3,4,5,6, etc.
Anybody can give me a clue on how to make a start? It would be greatly appreciated!
