Can basic stamps be programmed by USB? My motherboard doesn't have serial/parralel... actually it does, i was sonfused with a motherboard I will be buying soon which doesn't, so my question still applies:
Can a basic stamp be programmed by USB or will a need a serial/parralel converter and will that work?
I also know many serial/parralel devices no longer work in XP, can the basic stamp be programmed from XP?

Yes, you can program a BASIC Stamp using a USB cable on an XP machine.· There are two ways·that this can be done, the first is Board of Education that has a USB circuit built on to the board.· The second is a USB to serial adapter.· ·Here·are a couple of links for more information:
