PWM with BS2

I need to drive a DC motor with BS2 using PWM.
If I let the BS2 do the PWM it can't do anything else so I thought of using an adressable PWM which just gets the command from the BS2 and runs the motor until the BS2 next cycle.
Since I do not need true continuous speed on my motor I would be fine having 8 or 16 different speeds which I could set with the BS2, that is what I meant by adressable PWM.
What I need is the appropriate circuit, please advise...
