will MT8880 make actual dialing????

I·just have an enquiry ...··I want my BS2 to make a phone call, instead of pressing the keypad on my phone.. however the DTMFOUT command·on my BS2 doesn't·seems to worked out... i've tried many ways but still... doesn't work!~

will the MT8880·DTMF Transceiver from the parallax website [noparse][[/noparse]link below]·just function the same as DTMFOUT command on the BS2???

and also, can the MT8880 act as a caller-id????
if yes, then how?

The MT8880 will allow you to use the BASIC Stamp to dial phone numbers, withoutusing a key pad.· It also has decoding capabilities.· If you download the MT8880 PDF file from the link below it will show you a couple of sample programs.
