I need to design a very very small power supply for a BS2 project, providing 5V and 100 mA from a 220V AC mains.· The power supply should not be larger than a matchbox.· Any ideas?·· idea.gif

    You might take a look at the Astrodyne PWB-5001 Ultra-Miniature switching power supply
    Size: 1"x2"x.6"
    Input: 100-240VAC
    Output: 5vdc@1amp
    Cost: $32

    You may have to add some filtering to the output of the supply, depending on the
    downstream sensitivity to noise.
