My friends, I have a doubt, I can sensing a voltage directly to pin (basic stamp) with a externar circuit (that limit the current)?. The range to voltage is 0-5 V.

Thaks a lot.

Yerko.

Do you want to read a variable voltage between 0 and 5 volts? If yes, you must use an ADC (analog to digital converter). The ADC0831 is very easy to use.

    Thanks, Jon.
Really i'm controling a DC motor, with the driver L6203 and the current controller L6506. The feedback signal is a voltaje bethween L6505 and Basic Stamp. I need close loop for controller motor, I think that sensing the voltage i will can controller it. Pulsin maybe helpful?
If you have other idea or do you know about any link al respect, i'll be grateful.

    Yerko.

The "Digital and Analog Interface" class has a chapter on using the ADC0831 chip. It's a 4-pin chip, very simple to install and interface, and will measure your analog voltage 0..5 volts.

You'll also find a StampWorks experiment using the ADC0831.
