USB Flash Drives with Basic Stamp?

Is there an easy way to use one of those USB flash drives (the key fob ram drives) with a Basic Stamp?
I have a serial·data stream from another source, and am hoping I can use a Basic Stamp to collect the data and store it on one of those flash drives, so that I can later plug the drive into my PC and use the data.· Possible without endless effort?

You can use the uMMC serial data storage (uses mmc/sd card) that
offers FAT16 and FAT32 support.

Once your stamp has collected data and wrote it to uMMC, you can read
the mmc card with any mmc reader for the pc.
