Stamp Controlled Dimmer Switch

Hi Folks:
I want to use·an output from·a BS-2 set-up·as a·PWM·output which will·then produce·a variable voltage output. I would like to run this output into a dimmer switch to control·an incandescent bulb.
So far·I have found lots of·dimmer switch circuits but all of them have a potentiometer wired as a rheostat on the 120V line.
Anyone have any ideas on how to interface the two circuits without a lot of heartburn or parts?
Thanks in advance for the information.
