Interfacing the BS2 to computer (cap question)

Hello, I am looking to program my bs2 via mycomputer... I don't have enough time to buy a carrier board, so I was going to make· one myself and buy the board later..

Anyways, I was looking at this schematic:

And wondered, if I could use these caps:

becuase I already have them... I was just confused about this info on the page:
Ceramic Disc Capacitors (+/-20%)
25 Volt, 50 Volt, and 1000 Volt, Z5U Temperature Coefficient

    And can I hookup a 9v battery to the Vin and Vss like so:

    Yeah, it looks like everything is working fine... I go to identify>run and it shows my bs2 on com5.. so I assume everything is hooked up right. Using the above hardware.

    My only last question is, it says that bs2 stamp pin4 goes to ground, pin3 (after going throught a cap) goes to ground and pin5 of the serial cable goes to ground... can that ground be the ground from the 9v battery?

    yep, the grounds are common

    Would it be better to use the ground off the serial port?

    tie all the grounds to the same point. Including the ground from the serial port
