Are you talking about the BASIC Stamps Archive? I just tried to mark the forum as 'read' and have the same results. It seems that the first message, "GoRobotics.net May update" is still appearing as unread, which will make the forum appear to have new, unread messages. Are you seeing the same thing?

Does the posting date (5/15/2013) have anything to do with it?

The posting date might be an issue. I manually corrected the posting date in the message but that didn't seem to fix it. There must be another copy of the date floating around in one of the database tables. I'm still looking for it.
