Dear Friends,

Thank you for being involved with our discussion groups powered by
Yahoo! Our groups have over 7,500 members and are still growing.

Effective July 26th, 2004 Parallax is introducing our new web-based
forums. They are located at http://forums.parallax.com. You may now
subscribe to our new forums.

On August 9th our YahooGroups discussion groups will no longer allow new
postings and will be read-only for the next 3-6 months, after which time
they will be taken off-line. This pertains to the following Parallax
YahooGroups:

BASIC Stamps: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/basicstamps/
Stamps in Class http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stampsinclass/
SX Tech http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sxtech/
Javelin Stamp http://groups.yahoo.com/group/javelinstamp/
HexCrawler http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HexCrawler/

Each of these groups will have a category on http://forums.parallax.com

Our forums are based on the powerful dotnetBB software.
This means:

- no more click-through advertisements
- no spam
- e-mail notification for new messages
- file attachments are permitted
- control panel functionality for user customization
- search function for information in all forums

We're confident that you'll appreciate the web-based forums.

Sincerely,

Erik Wood

After a few attempts at registering, I realize my PC is not
compatable with the software used in your new forum.

I wish you well in your new venture and hope someone starts a new
Yahoo list to replace this one.

No! No! Don't shoot Dave! Sure, he's an old
dog, but he still has some good tricks.

Don't give up Dave -- I'm sure most of this
early registration foo-bar stuff is only
initial startup problems. Should be resolved
in a couple of days. Try again Monday, 'K?

Any chance you can archive the old postings so the historic
    information remains available?

    On the other hand...

A while ago... someone posted info on how to extract a HUGE listing
of all postings and save to the PC hard drive. Can that kind person
    please re-post the info?

    Thanks
