I am looking to decifer different objects. I would have maybe 15 different
objects. A couple of the objects have 2 or 3 objects that are identical in
dimensions adn color, just the barcode/numbering on the sticker is
different.
Example: I have 15 pens/pencils (10 have barcodes, 5 don't)
3 pencils are identical size and color, but once is "#2" one is "made in
usa" and the other says "pencil"
5 pens are different sizes and different lettering.
7 has different lettering on it
and I want to be able to decifer via a camera/scanner/ image input device
I could sort by size, but i still would have to actualyl look at the
lettering or barcode. so it looks like that would only be good to double
check my work..
I have seen something like:
http://www.acroname.com/robotics/parts/R140-CMUCAM-KIT.html that can track
images via color or brightness, but haven't seen anything that can do what i
need.
how would you'll decifer the objects? and suggestions would be awesome!
thanks-Lee
