Im sure this has come up before but searching throught the data base
isnt so easy. I have a BS2p40 demo board with chip and haveing
difficulty to get the laptop to communicate with it. Im using
windows xp with a sony laptop. When I try to get it to identify the
the stamp the port status comes up as scanning and com1 says
loopback yes and echo yes. Com3 doesnt say anything as this is as
far as it goes and it is then difficult to get it to shut down as
nothing else happens. Im using the cable that came with the pack
which is a serial to serial cable. Ive tried it with the power off
the stamp and the same thing happens so I believe it to be a problem
with the setup of the com port but not sure what to do
Thanks for your help
