BS2 serial data to model radio transmitter

Hi, does anyone have information or sites which explain how a
standard model radio transmitter can be hacked to accept serial data
from a BS2 and consequently send this to the servos? Is this possible?
Thanks.

Lemos International TX1-173 Radiometrix transmitter, 173 MHz
    $45.95
Lemos International RX1-173 Radiometrix receiver, 173 MHz
    $64.00

I have used the above units. Good documentation. They are designed to send
digital data, but work well with audio also (which is what I used them for).
Though the xmtr is only rated at 10 mW, they quote a 8 klick range in free
space. They essentially work off of TTL Voltages so interface is simple.
They come as complete modules, and I stick built the interface circuitry on
a copper clad circuit board. RTVed the modules to the surface of the
circuit board. They work from about 3 Volts to 12 Volts. Good beasts.

Look them up on the web. Stock in the U S A<G>.

I have used the MaxStream 9XCite 900MHz module connected to two
Mini SSC-II servo controllers to wirelessly control up to 16 hobby servos
from over 1,000 foot with a BS2 sending position updates.

You can find the 9XCite RF transceiver here http://www.maxstream.net
