Technically it's not an Easter Egg because it is being placed there by the user. Now, things like the HYP and ATN functions that went undiscovered (our boss, the original BASIC Stamp creator forgot about them) until about 18 months ago, those were Easter Eggs. Or were, I guess, until we documented them....

How exactly does this work? I assume that it is something that some engineer
went out of their way to implement. I can't see how simply writing a string
to the EEPROM can result in a debug window with text, unless the string
corresponds to the PBASIC tokens for a Debug statement.

That's pretty cool about the HYP and ATN functions. Any more undiscovered
instructions to come? <grin> How about a built-in TCP/IP stack that someone
    overlooked in the documentation?

The program is simply writing to program space what the compiler would
given the correct instructions. You can make your own program like that
by using the Memory Map window to expose the compiled tokens and their
    starting address.

And there are no more undocumented features. Sorry.

    Okey dokey... That makes sense.

Darn... Well back to pluggin' away with the existing instruction set.
