(1) Is it OK to place the memory chip of the OEM BS2 3" to 5" away
from the rest of the main chips? Or it is too far of a distance for
proper data exchange timming?
(2) What is the best media to place the EEPROM on for easy access?
anyone used any small "plug in circuits"? Do I have to make them or
does anyone know of a source?
thanks all :)

ChipCircuit chips offer the plug-in option.
We have the EEPROM module or we can supply a RAM chip option.

We can make a ChipCircuit for your OEM chip with the memory chip in
the same style.
We are currently upgrading our web-site so it does not say we offer
the custom chips, but we can make what is needed.
