barcode reading

Does anyone have experience with barcode decoding ICs?

I was looking for something that would be able to decode complex barcodes
(like datamatrix) and output to my bs2ic.

I have seen barcodechip, but I don't believe it does datamatrix, anyone else
know of any other chips?
