Hi All,
After about two years of stop and go I've got my cnc controller
ready. It's based on the a3977 chip and deskcnc, the concept was to
build a motherboard with deskcnc built in and having all the 4 step
drives plugged onto it, so if there is a problem on one axis just
unplug the drive plug a new one and it's ready to go again.
there is also a 4 output rele board that plugs on the 5 slot.
Tomorrow I'll upload pictures of the machines I've built.
The site is mainly in portugues We are in Brasil, but there is
a english page.
I'm at http://www.maquitronic.com.br/english.htm
and Http://www.maquitronic.com.br/products.htm
If there is interest on any product, I can ship to US or any other
countries.
A simple motherboard that runs out of parallel port, to use with
other softwares such as master5 is on the way.
the board is ideal to interface to a microcontroller such as basic
stamp requiring only two pins of the basic stamp to drive it in
microstep.Opto isolated input and up to 2,5amps per fase.
Thank's
Fogassa

Congratulations with your board. I hope you do well.
I am in process of switching my project from a DC motor to a stepper
motor. Currently, my design is just a single axis.
Good luck,
Frank
