Basic Stamp Editor for other PIC''s?

This is the thing most of us have found. it cost $250.00 for a
software package. PicBasic does some, but PicBasicPRO is needed for
the math and that it $250.00 and another $20.00 for a hardware
programmer.
The migration is a normal evolution as one gets more projects and
spends $$$ per year on devices, but even those of us who get involved
with customer related projects use the Stamp to do the prototype and
more often than one might expect, deiver a project using the Stamp,
even though we have the PIC's and the software.
