Simple - use 12VDC on the ULN instead of 5VDC.

a small incandescent lamp and have tried using a uln2803a but the
lamp is still very dim, and yes i know it gets a lot brighter at 12
volts. any ideas? thanks, mark
the ULN2803. You can then control the lamp with the BASIC Stamp. If
you write a simple loop you can even PWM the output and have *some*
[limited] control over lamp brighness.

how do i get the outputs on a bs2p40 to put out 12 volts? i am using
a small incandescent lamp and have tried using a uln2803a but the
lamp is still very dim, and yes i know it gets a lot brighter at 12
volts. any ideas? thanks, mark
there is a voltge input on the 2803 and a ground.
put 12V on the lamp, the lamp to the 2803 AND 12V to the Vcc on the
2803.
The Stamp runs at 5V and connects to the inputs of the 2803.
This should be an easy circuit.
