Anbody tried the Red-i?

Greetings. I just got a Red-i Web Server for a Stamp project and I
was wondering if any of you have any experience with these. It's a
module that plugs into a Board of Education and allows a Stamp to
control dynamic web pages and receive data that's been POSTed to web
forms.
After reading the docs and playing around for a few hours I find
myself wondering if this thing will do what I need it to do. I need
this device to sit and wait for a string from a host and forward it
to the stamp. I also need it to take data from the Stamp and send it
to the host's address. Sounds simple, right?
Part of my problem is that while I'm comfortable with Stamps and
ethernet, I have no experience with HTML forms or POSTing (the web
module speaks HTML only). I'm wondering if even a simple echo or
chat
server can be built using only HTML forms. Anybody tried it? Can
anybody provide me with a clue as to where to start?
