The simplest way is to use a 74HC595 shift register to drive a ULN2003
Darlington array. The 595 takes 3 I/O ports of the Stamp and lets you control the 7
channels of the ULN2003. Sending a high to a Darlington input turns that
channel on, taking the output to ground, which completes the circuit for a load
connected to the output.
