Wireless Phone Signal Detector

Does anyone know of the required parts and circuit that would be
needed to detect a
wireless incoming phone call?

I just want to build a simple circuit that would work like those
little mobile phone charms
that detect incoming calls and flash an LED. The circuit I'm building
will be within a few
inches of the phone, but not attached to it.

Any ideas or places of reference?
