Inconsistant serial numbers 2

Hi Daryl Barryhill,

Thanks for your response. I'm testing the DS2401 devices
individually on a breadboard. The wire runs are very short and I
have a filter capacitor and 4.7k pull-up resistor in place. The 64
bit serial number is stored as 8 consecutive bytes.

OWOUT 15,%0001,[noparse][[/noparse]$33]
PAUSE 100
OWIN 15,%0010,[noparse][[/noparse]byte0,byte1,byte2,byte3,byte4,byte5,byte6,byte7]
DEBUG CR,HEX2 byte0," ",HEX2 byte1," ",HEX2 byte2," ",.....etc.

It might be worth mentioning that I am able to read a variety of
other 1-Wire devices with this setup.

good job. You did everything correct. could be a small chance of some of them
have just gone bad
