BS2 and Mini-A Ultrsonic Sensor

Have any of you used the Mini-A ultrasonic ranging sensor from EDP Company
with a BS2? I'm interested in it and am wondering if any of you might have
some example BS2 code for it that you would be willing to make available for
me to take look at. What are the differences from the Polaroid ranger?
Thanks,
Tim

available from the surplus stores.
This one works at 12v (8-15v). All other connections were at the TTL
5 volt levels. I was able to connect it directly to the BS2 without
any isolation or signal level problems.
The working range was 12 inches (not 6 inches) to 120 inches. Our
PBasic program displayed a distance in inches. The signal became
unstable at distances closer than 12 inches. At a distance of 3 foot
the "window" of detection is about 6 inches in diameter. I don't know
how big an object has to be at that distance in order to be seen.
I could not get the "D" pin to work as expected. Couldn't figure out
what it was supposed to do that could not be done on one of the other
pins.
It is a neat little device to play with. I have not worked with a
Polaroid ranger.
