wireless ethernet to basic stamp

I am looking at getting into Basic Stamps. I have a little
application that I would like to try receiving data from my laptop
wireless ethernet card and display on a serial display. Anyone know
of a wireless ethernet receiver that could work.

    Hi Anthony

    We have a new wireless ethernet module being released in the next couple of
    weeks called an EZL-80.

    This will allow you to wirelessly interface with your laptops wireless
    Ethernet card and serially connect to the basicstamp.

    I you would like, I can email the data sheet direct to you or I can upload
    it to the files area if others are interested in the module.

    Jamie,

    Sounds good you can email me the info. Would there be some type of driver
    to act as a printer from the laptop to the EZL-80? What will the unit sell
    for?

    Hi Anthony,

    Each EZL-80W is individually configured so will can communicate with it
    directly from your Wireless Access Point (Laptop with PCMCIA card in your
    application). The EZL-80 has ethernet to serial conversion, so you can send
    serial data from your Laptop via a virtual serial port, and communicate
    serially to the Basic Stamp or any other serial device connected.
